Aldrin R.Speck先生是我校的一名外教。自2019年任教以来，他以高度的责任感、专业的语言能力和孜孜不倦的敬业精神全身心投入到日常教学之中，赢得了学子们的尊敬与喜爱。为了将更多的精力投入在教学上，节省出每天在上下班路途中耗费的时间，Aldrin R.Speck先生毅然放弃了繁华市区便捷舒适的住宿条件，在学校外教管理部何小佳主任的协助下，将家搬到了学校，这样他才有更充裕的时间研究教学并对学生进行指导和帮助。
为了表达对学校的感激之情，Aldrin R.Speck先生用双语（英语、葡萄牙语）写下了这封感谢信。他在信中不仅详细描述了搬家前后学校给予的关怀和帮助，还深情回忆了这些年来他与西译相识、相伴的至深情感。他说，西安翻译学院是一所有生活温度、有学术厚度、有广泛知名度的高校，非常喜欢在这里工作和生活。在今后的工作中，我将一如既往地全心全意地投入到学校教学等相关工作中，为学校的外语教学做出更多、更大贡献。

To Chairman Ding Jing
As a Brazilian, son of an American father and Brazilian mother, I was working for a international trade company in XI’an for some years when Xi’an Fanyi University attracted me. In 2019, I was taken to Xi’an Fanyi University (XFU) at the foot of Cuihua Mountain in Taiyigong, and I learned about it through the general manager of my work unit in Xi’an. XFU is a well-known university founded by Professor Ding Zuyi.
After I went to work at the school, I found out that this is my home. Chairman Ding Jing, the daughter of the school dean, cares about me so much. I quit my job in Xi'an and devoted myself to this big family. In order to facilitate my work, I left my apartment in Xi'an and moved to the school campus, so I can dedicate myself to the students full time, students who will eventually become talents and pillars of this great nation. Thank you Xi'an Fanyi University for your care and love for me.

Ao Presidente Ding Jing
Como brasileiro, filho de pai americano e mãe brasileira, eu trabalhava para uma empresa de comércio internacional em XI’an por alguns anos quando a Universidade Xi’an Fanyi me atraiu. Em 2019, fui levado para a Xi’an Fanyi University (XFU), no sopé da montanha Cuihua, em Taiyigong, e aprendi sobre isso por meio do gerente geral da minha unidade de trabalho em Xi’an. XFU é uma universidade muito conhecida, fundada pelo Professor Ding Zuyi.
Depois que fui trabalhar na escola, descobri que este é o meu lar. A presidente Ding Jing, filha do reitor da escola, se preocupa muito comigo. Larguei meu emprego em Xi'an e me dediquei a esta grande família. Para facilitar o meu trabalho, deixei meu apartamento em Xi'an e me mudei para o campus da escola, para poder me dedicar aos alunos em tempo integral, alunos que acabarão se tornando talentos e pilares desta grande nação. Obrigado Xi'an Fanyi University por seu carinho e amor por mim.
